Correspondent: Two people were injured in a motorcycle accident in Srinagar. The incident occurred around 9:45 AM on Wednesday in front of the Bezgaon passenger shed on the Dhaka-Mawa-Bhanga Expressway.

The injured have been identified as Mazharul Islam (55), the motorcycle rider, and his wife, Taslima Begum (35). Mazharul Islam is the son of the late Md. Motaleb from Muradpur, Jurain, Dhaka.

According to eyewitnesses, the motorcycle (Dhaka Metro-L 524874) lost control and crashed onto the road while traveling on the Dhaka-bound highway lane of the expressway. As a result, both riders sustained injuries.

Fire service personnel arrived at the scene and rescued them. Dewan Azad Hossain, Station Officer of Srinagar Fire Service, stated that they received information about the accident and immediately rescued a man and a woman, sending them to the Upazila Health Complex.

Dr. Md. Musa Hasanat, the emergency duty doctor at the Upazila Health Complex, reported that after providing initial treatment, both injured individuals were referred to Dhaka Mitford Hospital for advanced medical care.
